Description

This Chinese Wisteria (Wisteria Prolific) is a stunning, deciduous climber with twining stems and cascading clusters of fragrant, blue-violet blooms. It is a vigorous grower and can reach up to 10m when planted in the right position.  The profusion of fragrant, blue-violet flowers in drooping racemes appear in late spring and summer.

Planting Position

Wisteria Prolific can tolerate a wide variety of soil types and grows best when planted in a sunny spot in well-drained soil. It is suitable for growing against a wall, fence or trellis. It will need to be pruned to encourage a bushy habit and to prevent it from becoming too untidy.

After Care Tips

To ensure your Wisteria Prolific thrives, water deeply and regularly, especially during dry periods. Prune your Wisteria Prolific twice a year, in the spring and summer, to encourage flower production and apply a balanced fertilizer in spring. With a little care, this fast-growing climber will become a beautiful addition to your outdoor space.

Size

Can grow up to 10m tall x 4m wide but can be controlled through regular pruning.
