Description

The Syringa vulgaris ‘Mrs Edward Harding’ is a stunning tree providing colourful spring interest. This award-winning Lilac displays an abundance of fragrant, purple-pink blossoms throughout spring, attracting bees and butterflies.

 

This hardy ornamental tree is small to medium-sized with heart-shaped, dark green leaves from spring until autumn.

 

Planting Position

This Lilac is an attractive, low-maintenance addition, suitable for mixed shrub borders, hedging and screens or as a solitary tree in a lawned area. It can be used in courtyards, cottages and informal gardens.

 

The Syringa vulgaris ‘Mrs Edward Harding’ will do well in full sun, exposed and sheltered areas and moist but well-drained soil.

 

Aftercare

The Syringa vulgaris ‘Mrs Edward Harding’ requires little maintenance and can Tolerate hard renovation pruning.
