Description
These flexible rubber tree straps measure 40cm x 22cm. They are used to provide support to lightweight standard trees when used in conjunction with a wooden tree stake. Supersoft Tree Ties are a simple and easy way to secure trees to tree stake posts.
This is a more environmentally-friendly strap, manufactured from a type of rubber. This material also has the added advantage that it allows much more stretch than plastic tree ties which is of great benefit to young trees in allowing them to develop their own resistance to wind loads. This more flexible strap also needs less maintenance with inspections only required every three years.
Secure with an easy figure of eight fitting which eliminates the need for a spacing block.
If using with a heavier stadard tree, for instance, an 8-10cm girth or upwards, then we would advise using the Buckle Tree Tie.
