Simplify your tree planting process with our Stake, Tie & Rootgrow Planting Kit, designed for bare-root and container-grown trees. This bundle includes everything you need to give your trees the best start:
Rootgrow Mycorrhizal Fungi (60g): Endorsed by the RHS, Rootgrow improves nutrient uptake, strengthens roots, and enhances plant resilience.
Square Stake and Supersoft Tie: Provides sturdy support to prevent root rock and protect your tree during its establishment phase.
The stake and tie should be removed after 18–24 months, once the tree is strong enough to stand independently.
This all-in-one kit is the ideal solution for supporting your trees while ensuring they thrive, offering a perfect balance of nutrients and stability.

Reduces transplant stress and increases drought resistance.
Minimises the need for synthetic fertilisers.
Protects against soil pathogens and stabilises soil surfaces.
For Bare-Root Trees:
Prepare the planting hole.
Mix Rootgrow into the soil or rub the granules directly onto the roots.
Place the tree and backfill as normal.
For Container-Grown Trees:
Loosen the root ball and add Rootgrow granules to the planting hole.
Rub the granules onto the exposed roots before planting.
Prepare the planting hole, leaving it partially backfilled.
Drive the square stake into the ground, positioned on the windward side, close to the root ball.
Ensure the stake is no higher than one-third of the tree's height.
Secure the tree to the stake with the supersoft tie, forming a figure-eight loop to prevent rubbing.
Check the tie regularly and remove it after 18–24 months.
