Description
This highly ornamental Blackberry displays saucer-shaped, white flushed with pink flowers during June, attracting an abundance of wildlife.
The Rubus fruiticosus 'Oregon' flowers give way to mild, juicy, medium-sized, rounded blackberries from August to September. The berries are great for eating fresh, jams and syrups.
This Blackberry has lobed, pinnate, dark green foliage tinged with red during autumn.
Planting Position
The Oregon Blackberry will do well in sheltered areas in full sun to partial shade and in moist but well-drained or well-drained soil.
After Care
The Oregon Blackberry requires moderate maintenance. Prune twice yearly during summer to promote new growth and late winter to remove the ground-level shoots that fruited the previous season. Water 3 times a week during the growing season.
