Description
This hardy False Acacia displays small, fragrant, yellow flowers from June to July, attracting an abundance of wildlife.
The Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Lace Lady’ is a bushy shrub or small ornamental tree with contorted branches and delicate, curly green leaves, turning yellow before the leaves fall in autumn.
Planting Position
This False Acacia is an attractive addition, suitable for patio Containers. The Twisty Babe will do well in exposed and sheltered areas in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil.
Aftercare
The Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Lace Lady’® Twisty Babe requires little maintenance. Prune dead, diseased, damaged, congested or crossing shoots during late summer or early autumn.
Size
After 20 years, the tree can reach a height of 4m x 4m spread if grown in the ground. Can be kept smaller if grown in a container and pruned on a regular basis.
