Description 

This little mirabelle fruit is often used for cooking and makes a excellent fruit desserts as well as jams. Very populuar in France. The flesh is a golden yellow and is rish and sweet in flavour. Not as juicy as some mirabelle but comes away cleanly from the stone. 

 

Can be eaten fresh or bottled or preserved.

 

Planting Position 

This lovely fruit tree is fairly resistant to frost but as with other plums will benefit from a good amount of sushine to get the best fruits. A good, well-drained soil is best.
