Description

The Concorde pear tree produces a bushy tree with fragrant, white flowers and delicious green fruit. The large ripe fruits are pale green with patches of gold russett. It is a partially self fertile specimen, however, fruit yields can be maximised by planting a suitable pollination partner close by.

WIll grow well in most soils. A hardy variety that is relatively trouble-free. As a relatively compact tree it will make a good fruit tree for a small garden.

Attributes

This bushy fruit tree makes an attractive addition to any garden and bears a profusion of fruit suitable for eating raw or for making a variety of desserts. The flowers will attract a variety of pollinating insects. It belongs to flowering group 4 and as a self fertile specimen requires a pollination partner from groups 3, 4 or 5.
