The Kioto® is a compact, upright, self-fertile fruit tree.

Description

This late-flowering Apricot displays decorative blossoms from white to pink. The flowers give way to an abundance of sweet, juicy, medium-sized, orange-red fruit ready to harvest in July. The fruits are great for eating fresh as well as desserts and bakes.

Planting Position

This Apricot is a hardy tree, suitable for beds and borders, informal and cottage gardens. The Kioto will do well in sheltered areas, in full sun, and in moist but well-drained soil.

Aftercare

The Kioto® requires little maintenance. Prune straight after fruiting as part of crop thinning unless there is no crop. Water only if the compost feels dry.

Size

The Kioto® Apricot can reach a height of 3-4m.
