Overview

A stunning ornamental tree noted for its clusters of beautiful double reddish-pink flowers in spring and heart-shaped, coppery-bronze foliage that matures to a glossy green and turns yellow in autumn.

Description
Cercis canadensis 'Pink Pom Pom' is a beautiful, slow-growing, large deciduous tree with a rounded form. It produces clusters of stunning double reddish-pink flowers in spring, great for attracting pollinators such as bees, followed by coppery-bronze heart-shaped leaves that mature to a glossy green and turn yellow in autumn.

The Cercis canadensis will develop a more or less rounded form, averaging 4m/13ft tall and 3m/9ft wide (after 10 years), making them great for large or small gardens.

Planting Position
Cercis canadensis 'Pink Pom Pom' prefers well-drained, moist, moderately fertile soil, and full sun will encourage a better show of flowers.

Attributes
Bushy, large deciduous garden tree. An excellent choice for a specimen tree in the garden.
