Description
The award-winning Albizia Julibrissin' Summer Chocolate' is a large shrub/small tree with a domed crown when mature.
 
This stunning silk tree displays fluffy fragrant clusters of pinkish or yellow-green flowers during summer, attracting bees, birds and butterflies. The Summer Chocolate is an ornamental tree with large, 
purple, fern-like leaves from spring until autumn.
 
Planting Position
This Silk tree is a lovely addition, suitable for containers, beds and borders, and is often seen in coastal, cottage and informal gardens.
The Albizia julibrissin' Summer Chocolate' will do well in sheltered areas, prefers full sun, and needs well-drained soil.
 
Care and Maintenance
The Albizia julibrissin' Summer Chocolate' requires little maintenance and is easy to train. Pruning at the right time of year will result in a good display during the following flowering season.
 
Size
In 10 years, the Albiza Julibrissin can reach a height of 4-8m with a 
2.5-4m spread.
