Planting Position:

Silk trees grow best in warm, sheltered and sunny spots. They must be protected from frosts but are well suited to milder parts of the UK. Note that the Silk tree is quite late to emerge inspring so don't worry if your tree still looks dormant well into May.

 

Care and Maintenance

The Albizia julibrissin 'Chocolate Fountain' requires little maintenance and is easy to train - it can be trained as an informal fan against a south facing wall if preferred. Pruning at the right time of year will result in a good display during the following flowering season.
