This Yellow-Berried Rowan Tree is a medium-sized, deciduous, ornamental tree with bright yellow-orange berries and stunning foliage in the autumn.

Description
More vibrant berries than the Sorbus 'Joseph Rock', this lovely rowan tree will brighten up a dark sContainer in your garden. An attractive, medium sized deciduous tree, with a rounded, open crown. Feathery leaves emerge green in spring and through summer, turning shades of orange and red in the autumn. Clusters of small white flowers in spring provide nectar for a variety of insects and are followed by white fruits which turn bright yellow.

Birds will seek out the berries although, they often prefer a red fruiting Mountain ash over this particular variety. The tree can be expected to achieve between 8-10m in height over a period of 20-50 years, with a spread of approximately 6m.

Planting Position
This tree will tolerate full sun or partial shade, and any planting aspect. It also copes well in sheltered or exposed settings. Its soil preference is loam, sand or clay with either an acidic or neutral pH.

Attributes
The main attributes of this tree are amenity and wildlife. Mountain ash are a beautiful genus and this variety makes a striking specimen with pendulous fruit clusters and stunning autumnal colouring. It also provides food and habitat for a wide variety of insects and birds.
