A beautiful healthy 8 foot tree in bud and sprouting leaves ( end february ) A frank matthews tree and I have found fm trees to be healthy and reliable.

Planted it (a half standard tree ) the same day. I live in somerset and last february was quite warm but followed by two months of a very dry and cold north wind….none of my fruit trees did well and one died Lets hope 2024 brings better weather.
