Farleigh Damson is a heavy cropping variety with sweet and juicy fruits that are excellent for cooking.

Description

This wonderful damson produces large clusters of prolific blue-black fruit with a wonderful sharp flavour. Delicious with yogurt or ice cream or in pies, jams and liqueurs. Eat straight from the tree when fully ripe. Self-fertile and a heavy cropper, originally from Kent, recommended throughout Britain.

 

Planting Position
One of the hardiest varieties of damson, Farliegh will grow in any UK area and will often flourish where others might fail. It does prefer a sunny sContainer.

 

Attributes

It received an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society in 2000 and is often selected for its culinary purposes and disease resistance. A fantastic addition to your garden.
