Description
Albizia Julibrissin 'Chocolate Fountain'™, an enchanting and ornamental deciduous silk tree, graces the garden with its unique foliage, adding a touch of elegance and charm to any outdoor space. This is a sllightly weeping form of the silk tree making it idea for planting in patio containers or smaller spaces.
Albizia 'Chocolate Fountain'™ produces beautiful pink fluffy flowers in summer creating a wonderful display, attracting butterflies and pollinators to the garden.
Planting Position:
Silk trees grow best in warm, sheltered and sunny sContainers. They must be protected from frosts but are well suited to milder parts of the UK. Note that the Silk tree is quite late to emerge inspring so don't worry if your tree still looks dormant well into May.
Care and Maintenance
The Albizia julibrissin 'Chocolate Fountain' requires little maintenance and is easy to train - it can be trained as an informal fan against a south facing wall if preferred. Pruning at the right time of year will result in a good display during the following flowering season.
